Her Virtue is the brainchild of our founder and CEO Amanda Mandisa Duma. Lunched in 2019, the program offers a comprehensive, multi-sectoral package of core interventions to address key factors that make girls and young women particularly vulnerable to HIV. These include structural factors such as gender-based violence, exclusion from economic opportunities and a lack of access to secondary school. By layering multiple interventions at once so that Adolescent and Young People (AYP) are surrounded with critical support that keeps them safe from HIV and other risks, Her Virtue aims to help them stay healthy and live free from fear.
Father's Ministry Church
Today we visited Father's Heart Ministries in Kagiso, Soweto, where the team at Ecorbit Health donated building materials for the construction of a new church building. We couldn't have come this far without the team at Father's Heart Ministries led by Bishop Issac Makaringe. They are amazing people who have become an integral part of our lives and we are extremely thankful to have them on our team!
We welcome our 2023 intern with great pleasure. Ms Amanda Duma presents a gift to our new recruit, Mr Panashe Maunganidze, who currently studying Computer Science at WITS University. The ceremony was held at the Ecorbit Health HQ located in Sandton, GP. The Ecorbit Health Intern program is a 12 month fixed term contract which provides workplace experience, underpinned by a carefully designed training programme. It allows one to gain valuable work experience, explore career paths and networking with professionals in the field.
